Taking Down Christmas

I'm taking down all the Christmas stuff today.

In the process, I'm working out my writing goals for the year. Which means, contemplating if I should email the epublisher who has my short contempory and do a status check. As of Saturday, it'll have been there four months on the Senior Editor's desk.

I contacted them a couple of months ago and found out it had been recommended to the Senior and due to the fact they were expanding (always a good sign, right?) they were behind. But how long do I wait? It's a full. It's ready to be sent to any number of houses. (And I'd really like to be pubbed before the next national conference in July.)

The good news is I think my urban fantasy/spec. fiction may finally be ready to send out. Guess it's time to get a spread sheet together so I can track it.

Yes!! Thank God. I've sent it out to the CPs to do the continuity stuff. Tell me where it stinks, etc. :)

And the CPs are loving it. Can't wait to see this in print!
