Yeah, baby! Just found out I made it into the third round of the First Line Contest. The field will be narrowed down by five each week from the current 55 entries. Which means . . . in ten weeks, the final five will send off their submissions to Hilary Sares of Kensington. Pretty cool contest, if you as me. And it was free! There aren't many freebies out there, so big thanks to Karin Tabke. Check out her website if you get a chance. I'm #11 on the Jan. 29th blog. My next line is posted in the comment section.
I'm working on Chapter One of Book II in my sff series. I've managed to put a few lines down to alleviate the stark whiteness of the blank page. Yak. It'll go quicker once I have the synopsis fleshed out.
