Whoa, it's been three weeks. Where does the time go? I have lots to tell, that's for certain.
I've been on a kick to simplify my life, cut out the things that won't/don't help me utilize my writing time effectively. Unfortunately, the two teenagers, the two elementarians (yes, I just made that up. I'm a writer, remember?) and the hubby had other plans.
The hubby and I celebrated our 19th Wedding Anniversary on the 9th. My oldest kid had her first stand-up comedy routine at her h.s. variety night (it was great! That kid is funny:) and my sixteen-yr-old son had his first date, of which I was required to chaperone. Yeah, life's busy and great.
I'm still working on the revisions my cp gave me on The Residuals. Not too much, just refining some elements that needed a little more fleshing out. And I'm ready to send out partials. Wheeeee!
Oh, and the fun part is I entered a First Line contest and I made the first round :) Check it out. I'm #62. The winner receives a read/request from Hilary Sares of Kensington. Cool.
That's all for now. I'm off to plan the 11-yr-old son's Lazer Quest b-day party.

Glad to see your back!
I love The Residuals.
Can't wait to see it in print.
How was Nathan's first date? Does it get easier with your second child, or do your knees still knock with the prospect of the 'dating world?'
19 years and four kids. WOW. I've got 12 years and one kid. Meh.
I loved reading those first lines. Yours will definately be one of the last standing--very smart assed and edgy.
